Namaskar,

Congratulations to the Bhutanese in California. It's a wonderful! Wonderful! Wonderful! deed. I'd like to express my deep appreciation and heartfelt gratitude to the volunteers of ITT for your generous volunteer initiatives for the unification. It's truly praiseworthy effort. A bundle is not easy to break.

United Bhutanese in California.

With the fresh breath of Spring, the news of United Bhutanese in California is in the air. Finally, after long deliberations and tedious works of volunteers in the Interim Transition Team (ITT) and Election Commission, the date for the election of Executive Board for the new organization (Bhutanese Community in California) has arrived. Sunday the 3rd April 2011 will be a memorable day for all Bhutanese in California. Not only are the Bhutanese across the globe watching this positive development but also the affiliated orgs. local NGOs, County and State representatives are looking up to us as a good example in the diverse community.  Now it will be upon us to live up to the expectations.

The principle of "Community voice, community choice" played key roles to pave the way for United Bhutanese in California. To complement our own efforts, conscious and concerned Bhutanese from San Diego to Sacramento visited Bay Area expressing the need, purpose and the reason for unity, hope and progress of our people.  In the historic meeting held on 25th February 2011, the erstwhile organizations (BACC and BASCO) came to unanimous consensus to merge into a single organization to represent all Bhutanese in California.  With clear vision, the leaders on both sides began the work, delegating major responsibilities to the independent members of the community that resolved to successfully conduct the election. Now that the important moment is ticking, it is our duty and responsibility to welcome the change, honor and respect the public mandates and move on for a better tomorrow. Therefore, it is hoped that all Bhutanese in Bay Area will be present  to help and cooperate in the best possible way for the successful election and seamless transition into a common organization, while we request rest of the Bhutanese elsewhere to give appropriate advice and share words of wisdom to your fellow friends in California to help them walk  the chosen path in the spirit of unity, hope and progress at such a delicate time of change. Now we live in America the land of visionary leaders who saw tomorrows hundreds of years ahead and set right path ftheir or people to follow. I think we should not only adopt this great country but take some examples from its leaders and use it for the greater good of our own people.

In Solidarity with Unity

All is well that ends well.....it was indeed not a great deal to form any kind of organization.. and what for..... the priority goes to those who love the country and not talk against the motherland.
Why people from poor countries go to States.. to earn the better living so hence better earn and live better rather than using energies elsewhere in parties and organization.
remember there are more beggars in Unites States than whole population of Bhutan.. I mean to say minimize barbecuing and partying... and work work and work and live healthy and help people in need. Help all just not not just few....
