Re: Mind's Eye Re: Holloween

Well thanks, Mando.  My children enjoyed the holiday, and i had fun helping them with costumes and parties.  Now I see my oldest celebrate by dressing up with the kids.  I hear the next generation is doing it this way here. I've been to the occasional adult Halloween party that requires costumes with groups of people I know that never really grew out of it.  In Detroit, there are HUGE adult costume parties in auditoriums and night clubs. But trick or treating door to door for children is waning in the places I've lived in the last decade, and I think the parents are going back to taking the kids to parties instead around here. I like any occasion to celebrate, but would rather stay home to do it!

We had only one visit this year - compared with dozens a few years ago.

I wonder how many know today is a catholic spiritual feast day known as "All Souls Day". Tomorrow 1 November is " All Saints Day."

Enjoy filling the tithing bags.
