It doesn't take much intelligence to go after other people and get a group engaged in conflict. We've had our share of rude and sarcastic barbs in here by trolls and group members. Eventually the trolls and angry members fall away and we come back around to our agreement to treat each other respectfully while continuing the conversation. I used to find it interesting to see the group erupt in warfare. These days I find it tedious and haven't much patience for waiting for it to be over. We do have members who, for various reasons, always seem to take the bait. Suggest we move on to something more interesting.

As for the trademark default thing. :-) you are treading in a very dangerous area, if your birth certificate reads "Tony" you might be able to get away with it once. You are using an international symbol the has a specific legal meaning. Violating that meaning can land you in a whole lot of very expensive hot water. I know the dark seedy side of life. It is best to avoid trouble. I would suggest getting TM off default.
It can save you a lot of grief..
ME is an international discussion group and many members English is not their mother language, so you need to cut a lot of slack. You need to be careful believe me there are people in the group that are much smarter than you are.
