It is all semantics. The value of anything is set by the level of want. It is all about supply and demand. If you want something very much then you will be willing to pay more than if you want it less. The value of Bitcoin has been increasing because people buying Bitcoin want to have it. The reason they want to have Bitcoin is not important.
