I took your suggestion Molly and re-read the guidelines. I find that the guidelines are OK. I believe that in point 4. it is meant to read that "such miscreants are NOT welcome". I find that points 3, 9 and 10 need to be re-read by other members as well. My comments in my post are not my OPINIONS of how the group SHOULD function, but rather my  OBSERVATIONS of how it HAS functioned since I joined it. And I do not think I was JUDGEMENTAL of the members. I as just voicing that many times I felt "put  down" or at best "ignored". Nevertheless I do not believe in perfection. I do enjoy being a member and the group does motivate my thinking.

1. Despite the number of "views" topics get, there are very few contributors. Gabby, Molly, Allan, Ash, archytas, gibbs, channe, and Maudo, are the ones I see other than myself. Many of the contributors seem to be academic types that use words and phrases that are for me difficult to understand.

I tend to view all topics, in the hopes that I can contribute my opinions on them, but many times, the academic jargon used is above my head. From the number of "views"certain topics receive, it seems that many do not even view topics that fall outside their interests.
   

Despite these criticisms, "Mind`s Eye" is my preferred group to share my ideas with. I look forward to looking for interesting topics and especially look forward to read comments and feedback on the topics I post and on my comments of posts that are posted by others.
