The Organization of Bhutanese Communities in America (OBCA), in collaboration with Bhutanese Community of Hartford, Connecticut and Bhutanese Creative Group of Springfield, Massachusetts, is going to launch one day Nepali literary symposium on October 26, 2013 in Connecticut. On this day, the OBCA will recognize and honor community literary figures, hold literary session and present cultural program. The symposium is supported by Global Bhutanese Literary Organization (GBLO), Bhutanese Creative Connection, USA, White Himal Television, Bhutan Lekhak Munch, Gajal Munch Bhutan, International Nepali Literary Society-New York Chapter, Bhutanese Literature.com, Rubai Munch Bhutan and Bhutanese Artist.com. Nepali and Bhutanese community literary figures and the lovers of Nepali literature from Nepal and core group countries will participate in this symposium.
Preservation, promotion and development of literature in today's IT world by honoring the rising community literati and through effective literary campaign in the community shall be the objectives of the symposium.
