Re: Mind's Eye Re: Accountability

Once you accept the living person of Jesus Christ into your life and
accept that His death on the cross is payment for all your sins, past,
present and future…. then you're saved. After that moment, you are to
the Father totally without sin. You are no longer under the yoke and
bondage of sin, but free under God's grace. Not to go on committing
more sin per-se, but called to a new life. Does that mean that you're
always going to remain as spotless as the day you were Born Again? No,
since you still live in a sinful, imperfect world and in a sinful,
mortal body. But no matter what you do, you're sins are forgiven. They
were the moment you accepted Christ as your savior. At the same time,
you are now the property of God and He will always be with you in the
person of the Holy Spirit… Always there reminding you and working on
you so that you will be more Christ-like day-by-day as you go in life.
A Christian is a 'diamond in the rough' to God. Thanks to Christ's
payment, He sees you not as the sinful mortal that you are but as the
finished product. And THAT is called 'eternal security'. Glad to have
it myself. And that's whether you believe it or not....
