SUPPORT TO ARUN BHAI FROM AUSTRALIA

Dear Fellow Bhutanese,

This is to inform all who have been globally mobilising support for Arun bhai that Bhutanese in Australia have concluded the support mobilisation exercise in two phases. We are thankful to Mohan Bhattarai who volunteered and worked in a very passionate manner to mobilise total contribution of $1276/-. The money was sent in two instalments, one while Arun bhai was still in Siliguri, India and other was handed over to him personally by Gauri Niroula from Adelaide visiting Arun bhai in the hospital in Nepal.

According to Gauriji, Arun bhai is recuperating rapidly. During the visit, Arun told Gauriji that he was incorrectly diagnosed and treated in Siliguri, where he was once administered with TB medication. Arun said that to be transferred to Kathmandu hospital was like getting a new lease of life. Arun bhai had shared with us in one of the phone conversations that few of his spinal chord discs in the neck region needed immediate attention. Doctor had said that physio would be started to correct the problem, if not surgery would be done. To Gauriji, Arun bhai had told that possibly physio would help him to recover. But according to Amal sir, who visited Arun bhai very recently said that Doctor has advised for a surgery. So, lets  all pray for his successful surgery if that is at all required and done and look forward to updates from Amal sir, Vidyapatiji and other friends in Kathmandu.
