Tribesmen and Soldiers of Pakistan in 1947………………..from LIFE

A nostalgic past. These tribals and men from KP were undoubtedly
motivated by leadership of Jinnah and nationalism. Today with the
ascending ladder of corruption and miss-perception of exclusivity in
our leadership together with the hell created in tribal lands, I
wonder if we will ever see such motivation and nationalism ever again
??

In December 1947: Tribesmen & Soldiers Of Pakistan getting ready for
the First Kashmir War in Rawalpindi and in Peshawar……………………….

Moslems gathering in Cunninham Gardens at the Khyber House for the

tribe acceded to the Government of Pakistan

baskets on their heads, as they drive their cattle into the Swat
valley for the winter.
