Mind's Eye Blind Guy Introduction

Hello All,

I've recently joined this group and have read with interest a number of
posts. From what I can tell, this is an extremely high wattage
membership, and I look forward to matching that brilliance, if I've got
the mojo, and I'm not sure that I do.

As for me, I'm a blind gay 46 year old writer living in Steilacoom,
Washington, very close to Puget Sound. I'm affable, liberal, and more
than a little cerebral in the right company. I'm currently working on
my second (unpublished) novel, which is a fantasy about a toymaker who
learns that the Archangel of Light has been imprisoned in a tower by his
wicked king, with the assistance of twelve evil and thoroughly
unpleasant sorcerors. When I'm not doing that, I enjoy listening to
books on my Victor Reader Stream, trying local sushi bars and playing
with my hilarious cat, Dickey.

I've come to this group with the hope of engaging in some thoughtful
conversation. I'll happily deal with it if the discussion becomes
passionate, though I'm not spoiling for a fight. Anyway, I'm blind --you
don't want to pick on a blind guy, do you? Heh heh.
