What you don't know about Secular Jinnah & Systems

Hello Folks,

I owe you you all (and in particular, those of you who have read SJ1 or SJ2) an apology. It seems that whilst trying to promote my novel Systems, I've neglected to explain its crucial links to my previous non-fiction books. Some of you simply don't read fiction, and that's okay. But I repeat, Systems is linked to both my other books, and in a way that will surprise you. I'm starting a mini-series of posts at my blog from tomorrow which will explain everything. Exclusive reveals

There will be one or two exclusive reveals there in the coming week. For instance, you may remember the '11 August Bill' for Pakistan's constitution which called for Jinnah's 11 August 1947 speech to become a 'substantive part of the constitution'. MP Bhandara conceived the idea and the press reported (inaccurately) that the bill had become law (it had actually passed 1 of 3 stages). He was still working on the bill before his death, and I accidentally became involved and ended up writing a draft at his request. That story was published exclusively in SJ2. Later - and this was not mentioned in SJ2 - I had my own idea for a constitutional bill. And the Cohesive Ethics Theorem of my fiction had a part to play in it. If you want to know the rest, keep an eye on the blog.
