[Mind's Eye] Re: Occupy X

Some of us stay home and protest in our own way, ornamentalmind. And I
do admire your courage.

I think markets can be a method of investing in decent companies but
not when it is abused or turned into gambling and deceit. Many
pensions and savings plans for retirement are tied up in the market.

A republic is not structured in the same way as democracy and the
founding fathers were wary of "the people" and limited voting rights
initially. Plus the French Revolution gave them nighmares.

Maybe we are turning into a third world planet.
