[MSUAtheists]:581 Minutes for 09/22/2011

Hi all,

The following are the minutes for the 09/22/2011 meeting.

1) President Dees and Vice President Ramos unveiled their side project
known as SAUCE FOR ALL (www.sauceforall.com). It case there is still
any lingering confusion, SAUCE FOR ALL (not school affiliated)is
absolutely independent of FAAMSU (a school club).

2) We held elections. The offices of the president and vice president
will continue to be held by the incumbents. Matthew Bratton was
elected treasurer and he will formerly take office in the spring
semester.

3) We watched the comedy / critique film "Religulous".

4) Discussed service options. Matt brought up the idea of escorting
women from their vehicles to the clinics that do abortions. I think
there may be quite a few members interested in this; however, we're
going to leave it up to you, Matt, to figure out the logistics. For
example, is there a forum where Mississippi women go to look for
escorts? I have no idea. Once those details are worked out, we'll be
able to make something happen.

Chris and I are both interested in teaming up with Habitat for
Humanity. We'll be sending out an email later today with more
details.
