Re: [Mind's Eye] Re: Just to let you all know...

Solve the problem surgically??? Is that how you have learned to deal with painful truths??? Then this book is outdated, I am sorry. You should come here and talk to my physio therapists, who I am seeing every now and then (actually now at the moment) to make the partial numbness in my left arm disappear. It's not nice what they are telling me, believe me. THEY are telling ME how I should move!! And about the importance of muscle building. Me building my own muscles to carry my own head without pain, do you understand?

I have an appointment with the local headache clinic on July
28th...that's the earliest they can see me.  Nothing wrong with the
eyes, though.  The problem is with my cervical spine and osteophytes
(extra little bony growths) that are biting into the nerve roots at C4
on the left side and C5 and C6 on both sides.  The NHS won't solve the
problem surgically until I actually present with numbness and tingling
down my arms.  Numbness is hard to fake because they'll stick you with
a pin to make sure.

I'm pretty sure that this is, really, the begining of things getting
better for me because of the book.  Of course, everyone on the group
will be getting signed copies at some point because of the help I've
received.  Some will be getting special acknowledgements too because,
in certain cases, I truly wouldn't have had some of the ideas had it
not been for this forum and the contributions and questions posed
here.  Some people will definitely see their names in the
Acknowledgements section.  Unless, of course, they request that I not
do so.

Anyway, I'll keep the forum apprised as best I can!!

Cheers,

Pat
