[Mind's Eye] Re: are we as a global society moving forward or backward?

It does seem ironic that with our new levels of global communication
we risk numbness.

I could draw the same profiles about my neighborhood or various
groups.

I live in a house but it sometimes feels like the middle of a jungle
or arctic solitudes.

The challenge to a global society- or society at large- is that some
