[Mind's Eye] Re: are we as a global society moving forward or backward?

As to whether or not global society is "moving forward or backward" I
guess we cannot make a judgement and probably never will be able to.

I live in a hut in the jungle amid a staunchly tribal society.
Certainly I would consider most of these tribal people honerable, some
wise =some not, some greedy some generous, certainly their lack of
wealth and technical progress has not made them less worthy or less
virtuous.

As to global society, I guess we have an undamped control system which
is always on the bring of resonance.
