lots written on the subject, not least on Vietnam veterans - it seems
the ones most traumatised are the ones who found they couldn't hack
the 'killing edge'. The bulldung of (over here) "Queen and country"
is totally out of anything I could believe in, but it's delivered in
highly brainwash situations. The disgusting purges by my countrymen
in Vam's country - often whole families were hung etc. as 'an example'
- show just what rotten behaviour is encouraged in patriotism.
The psycho finds it easier to kill because they experience little or
no shame or remorse and almost no ability to see consequences except
in rare cases. Very few of this type are much good at killing without
serious help from the weapon, which is why they tend to kill where
guns are available.
Foucault said we shouldn't listen to the experts and hear what the
killers say directly - but he was a prat. I don't want to hear the
sociopath's explanation and would rather put a bullet in hesheorit's
brain. Killing is easy enough - the problem is we are asked to do much
worse and are killing every day through immiseration and in wars we
allow because we are too timid to protest and take the streets. In
this sense, most of even this group are "killers".
