This seems to be contradictory behavior from a taoist. According to
Wiki; "Taoist propriety and ethics emphasize the Three Jewels of the
Tao: compassion, moderation, and humility"

If a spider bites you it's either out of fear and the desire for self
preservation or because it's hungry. In either case, it's not doing so
due to animosity. Does it deserve to die for this and is that death
truly 'justice'?
