Mind's Eye Re: Sacred And Casual

Did you consider, the sacred relates more to love than worship ?

And love means effort.,

Waxing the moon must be a big project for a cleaning firm Vam!  I'm not sure we can always tell sacred from causal.  Abortion is a difficult issue.  One can hardly be pro-abortion and yet at the same time want women to have choice and not be sneered at.

Profane would have been the correct antonym, by the Thesaurus. I chose Casual instead as the opposite of sacred. It is the value we see, or not, in things natural within and without. For instance, speech, thought, sunrise and waxed moon. They could either engage us towards fullness in ourself or we could let it pass carelessly without any consideration.

It the sacred we have lost in this age of rights, economics, and entitlement. One example : abortion. Carrying a baby to fullness is a sacred matter. Aborting, no matter what the ground, is a relatively casual act. There could be competing extraordinary reasons involved but that is rare. It is just irresponsible behaviour from start to finish, mostly.

The sacred is full of love and awareness. It is quietly holding hands of being already on the move. It is empathising with the nature of things without agitation, carefully and responsibly.

It is like music.
