Things have not changed since I was in the navy Kenny,, except the pay, it has greatly increased.. people don't change really,, it seems that many people especially the political leadership have become even more self centered. You see superficiality showing up every where.
The reality of it is each person has to decide the path they will take.. sadly there are only a few that catually find the narrow path spoken of buy Jesus, but may claim to have found it.

well, i understand what you mean fully. but our world is getting very complex now and we have to change our ways some or else face bad consequences. have fun in a car and you could die. have fun at work and you could be fired. what i am getting at is that fun is great and all but you can either learn the hard way or the easy way. i see you learn the hard way i'd guess. get a criminal record in today's economy and good luck getting a decent job. it just sickens me so bad how people don't think for themselves most the time. they always want want and want. i would not want to spend my whole life chasing social status and making people see me as i wish them to see me, i just want them to see me as i am. i was in navy 4 years. i ws so happy when i had money to buy a brand new vehicle(only new because of cash 4 clunkers(govt program)) and i thought i'd have one of the nicer cars in our barracks parking lot...-__- nope. all the kids want fast sports cars and high end expensive clothes. they all screw around with their girl/boy friends, and talk crap behind each others backs... i thought when i saw a few instance of such things it was just a small amount and that we pay attention to bad things, and notice them, more than we do good things, or just normal things, but the cars in parking lot really brang it home to me how superficial our society is quickly becoming. i mean look at history channel, the learning channel, and all that crap that used to be great. it's all reality t.v. now. wtf??? it is easy to brush it off as youthfulness, but we have so many more responsibilities now because things are becoming very advanced and quite delicate. the world is advancing by the few scientist and researchers, but the people in it are still acting like the world is just a big playground and we don't affect anyone else. selfish people that do not know, or even care about things i talk about now.
