[Mind's Eye] Dangerous Minds

I am not sure if i have posted something of this kind before.. cos i
have a feeling i did.. I was reading about the second shooting at the
Virginia Tech campus.. Although its not a mass shooting.. Did appear
pretty random.. But the point is not this particular shooting.. Its
this whole 'Phenomena'.. if i may use the word for the lack of a
better one.. Some crazy dude filling up on Ammo and killing .. just
killing randomly.... I have always been intrigued by such cases.. now
this guy is not a serial killer... He just pops, one day... The thing
is... It could be anyone... anyone at all... i often try to apply the
situation to me... And i have rather pessimistic views about it... It
Cant be curbed or checked.. can it... Who will you counsel..
Regulating arms is just one measure and i dont really support it...
Its this apparent randomness to the whole thing..its not always
depressive people who do it.. That Andrew Breivik.. i dont find him
the stereotypical (the ones with whom these shootings are associated )
gloomy, loner kind. Whatever the driving force maybe .. whatever the
motive.. or the lack of one... Suppose i feel so disconnected from the
world, from my actions ... and suppose i have a gun... and i go to any
crowded place and Bang Bang.. thats it.. i might kill myself after
that.. But the thing is.. what was to stop me... who couldve
known..and How could you stop me.. But I suppose when i reason.. deep
rooted morality perhaps... and then i come to the question of
conscience(is conscience natural?).. Does conscience ever leave us?..
are we not all the time aware of our actions.. and if they are of such
seriousness.. i dont really get when people say i Shot the person in
the heat of anger.. i was not thinking... is that possible? ... Well..
along the same lines. if perhaps we consider soldiers... on the
warfront.. why would they kill?.. to save themselves from the
bullet... To avenge their buddies shot.. but really... would one kill
for country?... or perhaps some do.... We can stretch this to
terrorism but thats another episode all together.. i realise i have
sort of ranted here.. but tell me what you think about it.. would you
kill? ever.....
