RE: [FRIENDSREUNION] Press Release

Dear Kesang and Karma,
It is so kind of you to send the acknowledgement.
Having worked very closely with Dasho Rongthong while he was detained in Tihar jail, his demise has touched me personally. I know him as very bold and determined leader and his contribution to establishment of democracy in Bhutan will be remembered and appreciated by all true democrats. I am sure DNC will be able to carry on with his legacy and continue contributing in the consolidation of democracy in Bhutan.

DNC Friends and Family members of Lt Dasho RK Dorji,

It is very unfortunate for us to lose Dasho RK Dorji in this situation. The fate is very cruel to take away such a person for whom we had developed a very high regard in the undertakings. And it is learnt that the almighty too takes the ones who are so good on this earth. He was our Martin Luther King of USA or Nelson Mandela of South Africa who was dedicated for the cause but the difference is our commemoration is yet to be seen but it would be obvious.

Let the family members of Lt. Dorji understand that the whole Bhutanese community is beside him at this sorrowful time. Dorji the most popular Bhutanese at this hour would be remembered for the ages to come. He has become immortal figure in the democratic struggle of Bhutan.

I on behalf of Bhutanese community of Cleveland would like to express our sincere condolences to the bereaved family member. Let almighty give power to bear the pain of such a loss. And let the departed soul rest at eternal peace forever and forever.
