The Arab world has seen many false starts.Lawrence of Arabialed them to total destruction of Arabia into small fractured emirates which were easily colonized and exploited, and then thrown off as scraps to the dictators and potentates who polished the boots of the occupying powers. Gamal Abdul Nasser led another false start–forcing Egypt, Syria and Iraq into the Soviet camp. The US at the time supported  Syed Qutub (follower ofHasan Al Banna and Maulana Moudoodi) to counter Nasser's Socialism. The "ArabSpring" as expected was another false start which has further reduces the power of the people. What could one expect from a revolution based on Twitter. It tweeted in Cairo and then coroneted Field Marshal Tantawi as the de jurepharaoh who is now issuing military communiques. A recent study shows that Egyptians are worse off than under the dictator Hosni Mubarak.

That was the Sandstorm in the so called "Arab Spring" which is engulfing the props set up by outside powers.

Today the physical and spiritual progeny of Hasan Al Banna are challenging the might of the Field Marshall and their underlings. While  Libya will continue to be mired in a civil war introduced and waged by the former powers of Europe revolution with active support of the Obama Administration. The powers to be are trying to keep monarchs in Jordan and Morocco in power. Whatever happens to Bashar Assad in Syria and Ali Abdullah Saleh in Yemen–this much is certain, the peoples representatives will be left out in the cold– jule like they are being left out in Egypt.

The so called CIA spring is full of sandstorms. In Egypt, the revolution is only beginning. All of a sudden the US has lost interest in the revolution in Egypt, which is headed toward the real peoples representatives. There were not tweets last week when the demonstrators in Tahrir Squere were burning US and Israeli flags and demanding that the government cancel the peace treaty with Tel Aviv.  The departure of President Hosni Mubarak launched a new era for the Egyptian revolution and certainly for Egypt. But

Field Marshall Tantawi's  SCAF represents the dictator. On the other side are the revolutionaries. They include the youth reflecting a highly fragmented arena.

On the ground the sandstorm is brewing. The Muslim Brotherhood has been reinforced by new "Islamic" parties. On the more liberal side of the Brotherhood is the "Wasat" or "Middle" party. There is the new power of the Salafists and the fourth group includes nonparty movements and civil society organizations that opposed Mubarak and his regime. Tantawi's aim is to stop the Muslim parties from taking power. The result could be an Algeria or a Libya.

These groups have opted for electing a legislative branch that will be empowered to select a constitutional council to draft the new constitution. Israel blatently killed Egyptian soldiers after an attack. The Israeli response to soldiers' deaths was inconsiderate of Egyptian lives. This led to the storming of the Israeli Embassy which has placed the Egyptian-Israeli relations on an ice sill.

With Turkey creating more pressure on Tel Aviv, Cairo cannot hold back.

While terror in Libya continues. Colonel Qaddafi is regretting the moment when he packed up his nuclear arsenal and sent it to Washington, pointing accusing fingers at Dr. Khan etc. Qaddafi recently said "we are not Afghanistan or Pakistan". Events of today show that Libya is worse off.  The Islamic parties see an opening in Libya and may storm the CIA installed leaders in Tripoli who rode on the backs of the US, and European bombing. So turns the wheel of history in the Middle East.
