[Mind's Eye] Do you live by Day... or embrace the night

Right... so in my country and time zone its 4 am ... although by
conventional standards it is almost dawn... and some scary people do
begin their day at this hour..... for me its extended night..as for
many.... I have always loved the night time... i am less enthusiastic
about daytime... although quiet afternoons are quite alright.... the
day feels rather opressive and is so immediate isnt it... i mean.. its
there...no more.. no myseries about it..it also kills our most
fantastic ideas which thought at night, in the light of the day
somehow seem silly.... but the night... seems so full of
possibilities... of the intellectual and other kind;-)..ok jokes
apart... for world conquering ideas... for our most important
decisions.... almost magical... One must always rise to meet the
day...assume some sort of courage and grit... the night has a rather
individualistic charachter.. which makes it so alluring.... is it the
illusion of complete isolation that it lends?....
all this makes me wonder about how our civilisation treats night.. i
suppose the general authoritatives have been rather distrustful of the
night... becaue its dark?..... same with darkness... must it always be
symbolically evil?...but our language is so colored i will end up
confusing myself... and i am not concerned with that here.... i just
want to know... how many of you love the night too... or do you like
to sleep at night... and are day people... of course your jobs might
influence but still... it would be fun to discuss and know... and plus
to know what you associate with different parts of the day... i am
sure all of us have some thoughts about it.....
